About SWANAFor nearly 50 years, the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) has been the leading professional association in the solid waste field. Our association serves over 7,000 members throughout North America, and thousands more with conferences, certifications, publications, and technical training courses. Canadian ChaptersThere are four Canadian chapters of SWANA. The Atlantic Canada Chapter represents the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The Northern Lights Chapter represents the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta and the Northwest Territories. The Ontario Chapter represents the province of Ontario. The Pacific Chapter represents the province of British Columbia and the Yukon. The Canadian Waste SymposiumFrom April 22 to 25, 2012 the Ontario Chapter of SWANA was pleased to host the 6th Canadian Waste Symposium, in beautiful Niagara Falls, Ontario. This Symposium featured an informative array of informative Technkcal Sessions and entertaing networking opportunites. This Symposium drew attendees from across Canada and the United States. |
